Deadliest Catch

After watching a few of the Deadliest Catch episodes, I have a serious problem with anyone who eats Alaskan King Crab, ofilio crab, or snow crab, or any other crab these men risk their lives for.

Eating their catch only perpetuates the killing of these fishermen. We make a fuss about killing a dolphin when catching tuna. Such a stink was raised that Americans began to only purchase Dolphin safe tuna. How come these same Americans don't raise a stink about the killing of humans when catching the crabs? And why don't they petition for Fishermen Safe Crab?

This is just another example of what little value we place on human life.

I'll tell you what the difference is. Those men knowingly risk their lives. It's their choice. The dolphins on the other hand are being captured and killed against their will. Us dumb humans have the freedom of choice. Those fishermen could get a safer job... ;0)

I know us humans are dumb AND stupid. It's why in the opening scene of the movie True Lies, Arnold can kill the hundreds of humans chasing him but the two doberman pinchers can't be hurt. It's a movie! Obviously Arnold is not really killing the bad guys but if he were to shoot those two dobermans... watch out! PETA would be throwing red paint onto the screen.

I am just upset at the stupid people that don't see the hipocrosy. President Numb Nuts Deer Caught in the headlights lets take a chainsaw to it Dubya Bush is killing Americans in his senseless Iraqi war to find the mysterious WMDs and no one really seems to complain. He created an excuse to send American Troops into Iraq and into their death. The terrorists blew up our buildings killing Americans and we are in an uproar... I don't get it.

Sorry, that was off topic but I am in my I HATE PEOPLE mode today.
